Investing in Liberal Arts Leadership
Campaign Goal: $44.5 Million
A Gettysburg education must never be static. The world’s demands keep changing. We must continue to invest in evolving programs, student-support systems, highly creative and impactful out-of-class opportunities, and technologies that engage each class of new students in fresh experiences that enrich their lives.
The Gettysburg Fund and the Orange & Blue Club are the primary sources of funds that define our level of excellence by supporting investments beyond the predictable. Together, these funds make it possible for Gettysburg to meet emerging challenges as a liberal arts leader should. By supporting these two funds, donors magnify their impact alongside others committed to them and, in so doing, affect every aspect of student life on campus.
To achieve this, we have prioritized these campaign goals:
- Expand participation in and support of the Gettysburg Fund, the College’s most flexible source of annual support for the priorities that matter most, year after year.
- Expand participation in and support of the Orange & Blue Club, sustaining the coaching, training, and competitive excellence that define Gettysburg athletics.
- Fund Gettysburg 2.0—our College’s inspiring vision for the future—and empower our community to realize its brightest ambitions in our third century.
“Gettysburg is not an institution frozen in time. It is engaging with the challenges of its sector of higher ed head-on.”
–Trustee Gordie Bittenmiller
