Investing in Student Success
Campaign Goal: $22.5 Million
Every generation of students faces its own complex challenges. This is true at any campus, as it is at Gettysburg. Strong mental health is critical to thriving in academics, as it is in life. At Gettysburg, we use an integrated approach to advising because it recognizes the interconnectedness of intellectual and personal well-being and success.
We have prioritized these campaign goals:
- Enhance our commitment to students through the Center for Student Success, including by adding a dedicated Peer Learning Center to this unified home for academic support and ensuring we have the resources to help every student meet the full demands of a Gettysburg education.
- Build out the Personal Advising Teams, including alumni mentors and career advisors, to ensure the fullest impact for our students.
- Strengthen and expand campus leadership and service programs through investments in student activities, leadership development, wellness initiatives, and opportunities that foster belonging, engagement, and personal growth.
- Connect our students far more with our alumni and their experience, expertise, and mentorship through expanded mentoring programs, career advising, networking opportunities, and alumni-student engagement initiatives.
“Gettysburg was such a good experience for me. I developed close relationships with professors, gained confidence, and learned
I could succeed in science.”–Anne Kuhlmann Taylor ’66
